“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” REVELATION 12:11

The Blood, that is a verse that you are probably very familiar with, but what exactly does it mean?

The blood, our life force, the life force of all living beings in one form or another.

With the blood we live, without the blood we die.

That principle is true not only in the physical realm but also in the spiritual.

Leviticus 7:11:” For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh atonement for the soul.”

Leviticus 17:14: “For it is the life of all flesh; the blood is for the life thereof: therefore I (God) said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever eateh it shall be cut off.”

Life itself is found in the blood; this is why God commanded that they do not eat any blood and even as the New Covenant of Christ brought us much grace in that we as Christians are not bound by those same Mosaic laws that our elder siblings, the Jews are to strictly adhere to, the blood is still off limits, even to us.

“For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden that these necessary things;

That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.” ACTS 15:28,29

We understand through this teaching that even though we are no longer under the law, but grace, we do have boundaries that we must adhere too, the Commandments, which never change, and these set forth in this teaching.

We cannot eat anything thing that has been strangled and we definitely cannot eat anything having been offered to an idol, think of this as having dinner with a pagan person who has offered thanksgiving for that meal to anything other than the one true God.

No fornication, and oh boy, in our world we can see the toll has taken on society and the destruction brought about by freewheeling sex as you please, encouraged, celebrated, and in the realm absolutely damned.

The downfall of many, many souls, trading all eternity away for the pleasure of one moment in time.

They do love their lives unto death, refusal to repent of sin and accept the Lord costing them their eternal life.

The blood, the most precious of all, God gives life through the blood, and it is never to be dishonored or taken lightly.

As society has not only dishonored the value of blood, but it has also willfully spilled it, shed it, considering the gift of life from God as nothing and to be scraped away and discarded with the trash.

But oh, the price that will be paid for that insolence in the face of the Creator of life of that blood, the Creator of life that precious life.

The blood cries, as the blood of Able cried from the earth after his brother had slain him.

The blood speaks to God and He hears, He comforts, and He avenges.

More importantly, as we understand a little concerning the sanctity of physical blood, we must also remember the sanctity of the spiritual blood.

As we have moved into the age of virtual reality, artificial intelligence, and a false sense of superior knowledge and being, it is more important than ever to be ever aware of the blood.

As the world sacrifices more and more of actual life to the beast of generated degeneracy we also need to make greater sacrifice, giving our time and minds to true things of God, forgoing the cyber pitfalls, choosing rather to think on the eternal, pleading the blood and remembering the blood and sharing the word of our testimony, which is also part of that overcoming.

As hard as it is for us humans to imagine, there really is coming a day, there will be no social media, there will be no electronics, there will be no vehicles and there will be no internet, no world wide web.

So many would laugh hysterically at that, but all I can say, as we have saw events through time take place that others in former generations would have mocked also, my answer would be, just watch.

As cataclysmic events start to unfold, and we are in beginnings of that unfolding, people will be forced to spend a moment in true reality, alone with their thoughts, their conscience, and most of the quietness that will allow the truth of the actual reality of their souls.

The world will hear Jesus, whether they want to hear Him or not, but in this, for some, there will be salvation.

When all is stripped away, the things we use to preoccupy our minds, and our souls, that the enemy uses to dull our spiritual ears from hearing the truth of God, from knowing that while we emotionally beat ourselves up because in self-consciousness, we feel we don’t measure up to the generated images of beauty and success or the filtered images of our schoolmates whose posts only cause us to demean our own lives, Satan is the author of those comparisons.

God created us in His image, He chose our every feature, we were not created to please ourselves, we were created for His praise.

He wants us to feel good in that and be content in the goodness of the life He has given us. The enemy uses all these things to wage his war against God’s chosen, as he does come only to kill, steal, and destroy.

His purpose is to kill any good in our life, kill our self-worth, kill our peace, kill the plan God has for us.

Steal our true identity, God created us before the foundations of earth were even lain, God knows who we are in Him, the truth of our identity, not the identity the world tried to force upon us or the identity that we have desired for ourselves.

When we become prey to the societal view, we lose the truth of who we are and in that all the beautiful plans God intended for us, happiness, joy, and above all peace in Him are destroyed as we measure our life, our worth against an imaginary, invented world of perfection and contentment.

Getting back under that blood, the blood that runs through our veins is nothing as the blood that covers us, the cleansing, healing Blood of the perfect spotless Lamb of God, the Lord Jesus Christ.

In that Blood is life and the only way to true life is through, under, and in His Blood.

“For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Much more then, being justified by his blood, we are saved from wrath through him.” ROMANS 5:6-9

We live, have life, survive, and overcome to victory of eternal reward by that Holy Blood.

“And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What (who) are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence cameth they (where are the from)?

And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.

They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.

For the Lamb which is in the midst of throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.” REVELATION 7:13-17

As we navigate these times, strange days, and stranger things to come, remember the blood, plead the blood, pray the blood over yourself, your family, and the days ahead.

In His Blood is the victory and life eternal and everlasting.

The blood is our very life and through His blood is the only true eternal life.

“…And unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood.” from REVELATION 1:5
