“Now we know that what things soever the (Mosiac) law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference.
For all have sinned, and came short of the glory of God.
Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;” Romans 3:19-25
Before the very first sin had been committed the plan of our redemption had already been put in place.
Romans 5:8: “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
God created man to live perfectly in his will, cared for, nurtured, and protected and oblivious to all that was cruel, wicked, and evil.
To live in perfect peace, joy, harmony, and oneness with God the Creator for eternity, dying and death were never intended for us.
We know through the Biblical account of the temptation of Eve, that by the successful temptation of one person, which in turn lead to the temptation of another the devil managed to bring the fall of the entire human race.
With that fall, as humankind was and is no match for a formidable enemy whose wicked lying and scheming has been ever of old.
We are as those wandering lambs not knowing how to fend for ourselves and completely oblivious to the wolves lying in wait to devour us.
As the scripture assures that in all this while we are being rebellious, arrogant and prideful God has a plan to redeem us, to save us, not only from the devil but also from our greatest enemy, ourselves.
We don’t have to try to be good enough and we are never expected to try to clean ourselves up.
All we have to do is repent and ask Jesus to forgive us of our sins and be our Savior
And trust him with every detail of our existence.
To just rest in him and in his love.
It really is that easy, that simple.
That is often why we have difficulty understanding it, it is not how our world works but that is the beauty.
God sent Jesus because He loves us, and Jesus came for that same reason.
To save and reconcile us back to the family.
But no longer to dwell in Eden but to one day have something so much greater, to dwell forever in unimageable love and happiness with Jesus and the host of the heavenly whom we are yet to meet.
I Corinthians 2:9: “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for the that love him.”
Unto all and upon all, as our starting passage comforted us, redemption through the blood of Christ is a free gift for one and all.
Any and all covered, willful sin, unwilful sins, Jesus as High Priest covered it all, any sin past, any sin present, covered by His Holy blood, one time and once and for all.
Numbers 15:28 “And the priest shall make an atonement for the soul that sinneth ignorantly, when he sinneth by ignorance before the LORD, to make an atonement for him; and it shall be forgiven.”
Jesus is all, He is our Savior, He is the Lamb, He is our King, and He is our High Priest.
Hebrews4:14: Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.”
Meaning, as we were not served by any man of this earth, but our High Priest, came from heaven and fulfilling his mission on earth, his death on the cross and resurrection from that death, as such a display of power and divinity we should hold onto, in all confidence and boldness our hope and confidence in Christ and his redemption power.
It is for all, and today, if you know him, rejoice and thank him for who he is all that he is.
And if you have not accepted his love and forgiveness, may I ask, what are you waiting for?
There is nothing you can do to save yourself and the only thing God requires of you is the acceptance of his Son, Jesus Christ, and following his commands.
If God forgives our sins and forgets them eternally, why not accept that salvation?
God never commanded that we punish ourselves by refusing to acceptance his deliverance through the belief that somehow, we can redeem ourselves, never gonna happen, only Jesus has that kind of power.
So, know today, that you are loved, and cherished, as we were reminded by our passage, there is no difference.
All have sinned, just get it under the blood!
Have a beautifully blessed week!
