SALVATION: WHAT IF TOMORROW NEVER COMES

HEBREWS 3:13: “But exhort (make a strong appeal to) daily, while it is called To day: lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.”

Once upon a time, society was aware of their sin, they did try to hide, and many who heard the salvation message of the love and forgiveness of Christ many were quick to repent.

Now not so much, thanks to false teachings that have lured the majority of the world into believing that there is no repentance but that is absolutely not true.

Accepting Christ and asking for forgiveness is non-negotiable, even if that acceptance is on our deathbeds, but if we have heard the truth and have been extended that invitation and just keep refusing, we will run the risk of that invitation being rescinded.

The enemy and our own false pride will give us reason after reason why  we can’t accept Christ or why we should wait until we are comfortable doing away with whatever it is our lives that we are putting a higher value on than our very souls.

ISAIAH 55:6: Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call upon him while he is near:”

There is no such condition as “living it”, we are not expected to change ourselves, no one has that can of power. We are what we are.

We seek Christ, ask for his salvation and he does the rest, he does the clean-up, he removes desires and temptations that had snared us into bondage that we ourselves would have never overcame.

He changes us, if we are willing, we never have to worry about changing ourselves.

LUKE 18:18-28: ” And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master (teacher), what shall do to inherit eternal life?

And Jesus said unto him, Why callest me good? none is good, save  one, that is, God (only God is good). Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother.

And he said, All these I have kept from my youth up.

Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing, sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.

And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich.

And they that heard it said, Who ten can be saved?

And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.

Then Peter said, Lo, we have left all, and followed thee.”

Our riches can be many things, not always money, thoughts, attitudes, actions, and lifestyles that we do not want to surrender to Christ, and Christ already knows the thoughts of our hearts and he knows how to make the impossible possible.

How truly sad will it be for those who have postposed, rejected the subtle whisper that tugs at their heart in the knowing the truth that can set them free and assure them eternal life and awake one day to a world in which the believers are no more for they will have been taken far from harms reach.

How sad it will be to know that the sorrow and despair that will be suffered by those who refused God could have been avoided by simply accepting what they already knew  to be the truth.

And those who are alive during after the rapture can be saved by rejecting the anti-Christ, the mark of the beast, and accepting death in doing so, but they will awake to eternal life.

If God has put this little post in your path and has allowed you to read and you are not saved, and after reading you still are not persuaded to make that decision.

Please allow me this one thing, remember this, remember God’s word that you have read for yourself in this post, and as you see the things forewarned for generations come to pass, and they already are, you will have no doubt as to whether there is truth in the prophecies of Jesus Christ, remember that you still have one more opportunity to accept Christ make good of that opportunity because once the mark is taken there is no more repentance.

If you have not accepted Christ, please accept that invitation for his salvation today!

You will be glad you did and it will be a decision that you will be eternally grateful for.
