Genesis 12:3: “And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee:..”

That was one of the many promises that God made to Abram as he led him on his journey to becoming a great nation and a journey that would provide descendants as innumerable as the stars of heaven, and as we know through his children and our adoption, we as a body with them are truly innumerable.

That warning concerning the treatment of Israel was not just for individuals, it was also for nations.

The word spoken from God is eternal, that warning holds just as much power today as it did the moment it was spoken, it came with no time restrictions, no clauses, it was given as an irrevocable statement.

Our leaders have shown their true colors as they profess strength, power, and justice their actions speak volumes contrary to the military bravado pouring from their lips.

The spiritual repercussions this brings has been stirring for quite some time now, and God has sent prayer warriors and some of the greatest spiritual leaders of our day to the capitol to cry against their sins and to pray for this nation and to sound that warning to repent and turn back to Him while there is yet time to do so.

But it has fallen on deaf ears, ears deafened by their own greed and power-hungry agendas.

So, it was not much of a shock, still very disappointing, when our leaders pretended to have Israels proverbial back, when in fact it was just show as they hoped to play both sides against the middle and keep the entire world happy, no matter how evil and perverse the actions of the other players may be.

But to lay sanctions against Israeli settlers? That’s a new one, to constantly cry foul for Gaza while the hostages are still there, shipments of medicine sent in with the false promise that some would go to hostages, no one making sure that this happened. Americans also being held, and you have to wonder, had these been famous people on their side of the fence would a deal have already been made?

But what is done is done and as it continues to spiral ever downward, we can’t help but remember the word of the Lord.

So, let’s talk about some other sanctions, referred to Biblically as judgments.

Such as this passage of scripture revealing the anger of the Lord.

Isaiah 13:1-13: “The burden of Babylon, which Isaiah the son of Amoz did see. 

Lift ye up a banner upon the high mountain, exalt the voice unto them, shake the hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles.

I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty ones for my anger, even them that rejoice in my highness.

The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like as of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together: the LORD of hosts mustereth the host of the battle. (God calls this battle together)

They come from afar country, from the end of heaven, even the LORD, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land.

Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.

Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man’s heart shall melt:

And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames.

Behold the DAY of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners out of it.

For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall darken in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.

And I will punish THE WORLD for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the ARROGANCY of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.

I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.

Therefore I will SHAKE the heavens, and the earth shall REMOVE out of her place, in the WRATH of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.”

This is quite clear a picture, as Jesus told us that men’s hearts would literally fail them for fear of what will come upon earth.

And as we think about the fact that his children will be taken out of harm’s way, not just moved to safety, but literally taken until it is over, we can see how final it all is.

The Hebrews were divinely delivered from Egypt and Lot, at the request of Abraham was divinely spared from Sodom, and many countless victories and provisions for the people of God, we now will see the angels themselves gathering those of the Lord to hid away in heaven until he accomplishes his will upon earth.

WE ARE HIDDEN AWAY:  Isaiah 26:20: ” COME, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee:

Hide thyself as it were for a little moment until the indignation be overpast.”

HE HIMSELF WILL HIDE US: I Thessalonians:16,17: ” For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Then we which are alive and remain (faithful to God) shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air; and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.”

THE SHEER BEAUTY OF THE BRIDE MEETING HER KING:  Song of Solomon 2:1-13: “MY beloved is like a roe or a young hart: behold, he standeth behind our wall, he looketh forth at the windows, shewing himself through the lattice. 

My beloved spake, and said unto me, RISE UP, my love, my fair one, and COME AWAY.

For lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; The flowers do appear on earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle (turtledoves =peace) is heard in our land;

The fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell. ARISE, my fair one, and COME AWAY.”

DELIVERED FROM THE DESTRUCTION OF BABYLON THE GREAT:  Revelation 13:4-10: “And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, COME OUT OF HER, MY PEOPLE, that ye be not partakers of her SINS, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

FOR HER SINS HAVE REACHED UNTO HEAVEN (such as the cry of Sodom that brought destruction) AND GOD HATH REMEMBERED HER INIQUITIES.

Reward her even as she has rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill her to the double.

How much she hath GLORIFIED herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: For she saith in her heart, I SIT AS A QUEEN AND AM NO WIDOW, AND SHALL SEE NO SORROW.

Therefore shall her plagues come in ONE day, death and mourning, and famine; and she shall utterly be burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who JUDGETH her.

And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,

Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for IN ONE HOUR THY JUDGMENT IS COME.”

As we see that day ever approaching and the identify of Spiritual Mystery Babylon now clear as crystal for all who will see.

All the wickedness.  All the degradation. All the innocent blood. The list could go on and on, with all the God-haters, gay men dressing as nuns, members of the same community spewing absolute blasphemies and perversions, abortion rights activists attacking the word of God and those who trust in it.

The nations have become crazed with all these sins and the leaders no longer possess common sense and it becomes clearer with each passing day.

I was so shocked as I listened that New York is planning to spend fifty-three MILLION dollars on prepaid cards for immigrants, I am not bashing immigrants, my bloodline is multiple immigrants, (even though I still question their limitations on our Finnish ancestors, seems all were welcome, unless you were from Finland) but there is a point and for him to say that this money partly so that they could buy the food that they like while we have children and elderly going hungry every day.

Millions, perhaps even billions paid for housing and hotels while park benches are being divided by bars and trees cut down so they can no longer be used by our homeless as shelter or even a simple place to lay.

The icing on the cake was the clip of the New York cops being attacked, kicked, and beaten those arrested for the crimes (as shown on the video) freed, completely freed, not even having to post bail and as they were led out, they laughed, and mocked, and made sickening gestures at the cameras and gave many a one finger salute.

Here’s your verse: Revelation 18:2: “And he cried with a loud voice, saying, BABYLON THE GREAT is fallen, is fallen, and IS BECOME THE HABITATION OF DEVILS, AND THE HOLD OF EVERY FOUL SPIRIT, and A CAGE FOR EVERY UNCLEAN AND HATEFUL BIRD.”

There is no abomination, no perversion, no sickening atrocity that cannot now be found in Babylon. and all the nations that follow her lead.

Revelation 18:3: “For ALL NATIONS have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the KINGS OF THE EARTH have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.”

The country that was to be alight has chosen darkness and it has truly touted itself as invincible, perhaps, at one time, while UNDER the protection and Provision of the Lord that it honored.

But those days are gone.

How I miss the America that we could be proud of and the countries that were a destination to dream to visit have now been taken over by that same hate and violence.

Maybe there is a glimmer of hope, if the world would repent but the odds are astronomical and as long as our laws and leaders are set against God, it is not going to happen, it will only worsen, as we have seen and continue to see.

Babylon will be destroyed because it turned on God and those who have fought against Israel and God’s children will be those who will be destroyed at his coming. notice also please, in our passage from Isaiah concerning the rapture, it is stated as “a little moment”. His judgment is swift, final, and brings about peace, harmony, love, and decency! What’s not to look forward to?

To wrap it all up, pray, be constant in your dedication to the Lord and as you see the judgments and the beginnings of those shakings come to pass, don’t be afraid, keep your eyes on the prize remembering that true sanctuary that will be provided for those who trust in him.
