“For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
Likewise the Spirit helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought:
But the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings that cannot be uttered.
And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is in the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
And we know all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
For whom he did foreknow, he did also predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren (siblings).
Moreover, whom he did predestinate, them he called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and who he justified, them he also glorified.
What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
Who is he that condemeth? it is Christ that died, yea, rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.” Romans 8:24-34
Some of the most powerful scriptures that can be used while building trust and faith.
We know that we have faith, because we believe in whom we can’t see, and we have hope in an afterlife that we cannot prove exists.
We know by faith that one day when our lives on earth are finished that hope will be made reality.
In that same way, we serve an invisible God who through his presence and his word gives us assurance that he is always there.
We understand by his word that even before we accepted his salvation, he had always known us and not only did he know us, but he also preordained the course that our lives should take.
He preordained the callings and gifts that we would be given along with the promise that even though we may not always serve him, that our lives could take detours on the road to accepting his salvation, but those gifts were already inside awaiting our submission.
Even after we have accepted him. stumbling blocks can sometimes trip us up, but through it all he will use it to our advantage.
He will make all things work together for our good, all the setbacks, all of the times that try our patience to no end, and all the little snags are turned to benefit us in some way.
He knew us, he predestined us, and justified us so that when the enemy or a person or even our own inner turmoil tries to accuse us before him, the charges are baseless.
Condemnation can no longer stand because his blood applied to our lives washes sin completely clean and past sins cease to exist.
He prays for us, he sees our spirit and understands spiritual things that we do not even comprehend, and he knows exactly what we need as he literally knows us better than we know ourselves.
There is great comfort in realizing that he knew us before the world, he knows our every thought, and will use everything for our good.
Best of all he prays for us and if the absolute God of the Universe is praying for us, just as he prayed for the disciples in the garden, interceding on our behalf for all the secret things inside how could we not rejoice?
He is there always as our help and our guide because we are his children, we are his chosen and as long as we will allow, he will never leave our side.
Blessings & Peace!
